Lauren has more than 15 years of experience in television, radio and web-based news reporting. She has covered everything from crime and political corruption, to hurricanes and historic events, such as the death of Fidel Castro and the March For Our Lives in Washington. 

Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication-News and a Minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership. She was at the top of her class, earning her the unique distinction of the Four-Year Scholar Award at commencement. 

Lauren is passionate about storytelling. While she can cover just about anything, she loves to pour her energy into positive stories about ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Her goal is to inform as well inspire others to make positive impacts in their communities.
